Richard Watermeyer studied at the Lowveld College of Agriculture before gaining valuable hands-on experience with a leading farming group on the Mpumalanga highveld. He later moved into the commodity trading sector, where he worked with established firms focused on African markets.
Over the course of his career, Richard has built extensive cross-border and international experience, which ultimately led him back to the agricultural sector through the establishment of various agri-supply and trading companies specialising in fertiliser and farm feed.
With 24 years of experience spanning import and export, international sourcing, trade finance, and agricultural trade, Richard brings a practical and commercially focused perspective to the group. He remains committed to driving growth within the existing business while identifying opportunities for further expansion.
